The Uruzgan delegation requested the Minister to urgently complete the remaining 25 kilometers of unpaved road to ease transportation, facilitate trade, and improve access to services. They emphasized that completing the road would greatly support the region’s economic development, expand commercial connections, and positively affect daily life.

Acting Minister Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Isa "Thani" attentively listened to the delegation’s request and assured them that the ministry would take practical steps toward completing the road. He stressed that the project is of great importance to the people and would significantly contribute to regional development.

The Private Sector Assistance Committee of Herat was established through the initiative of Sheikh-ul-Hadith wal-Tafsir Alhaj Mawlawi Noor Ahmad Islamjar, Governor of Herat, and with the participation of national traders and generous philanthropists of the province. In coordination with local authorities at the border, the committee officially began the dignified relocation process starting today.

It is worth noting that the committee, chaired by Mr. Qazizada, is scheduled to transfer five thousand (5,000) returning Afghan migrants from today onward to Kabul, fully funded by Herat’s private sector.

Mr. Mohammad Younus Qazizadah, President of the Herat Chamber of Commerce and Investment, participated in the groundbreaking ceremony of the 400-bed Alhaj Abdul Zahir Bashiri Specialized Pediatric Charity Hospital Complex. The event was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Public Health of Afghanistan and the leadership of the Herat local government.

At the beginning of the program, His Excellency Alhaj Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health, expressed appreciation for the efforts of Herat’s private sector in improving public health and stated that the establishment of this charitable hospital by a benevolent businessman from Herat is a significant step toward strengthening the healthcare sector and improving treatment for patients across the country.

Sheikh al-Hadith and Tafsir Alhaj Mawlawi Noor Ahmad Islamjar, the honorable Governor of Herat, emphasized that Herat’s private sector has always taken the lead in charitable initiatives. He added that the construction of the Bashiri Children’s Charity Hospital is another important step in supporting underprivileged and needy families across Afghanistan.

Alhaj Abdul Zahir Bashiri, a well-known philanthropic businessman, thanked the Herat local administration for its cooperation and stated that the specialized 400-bed pediatric hospital will be built at an estimated cost of nearly 5 million USD and will be handed over to Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Health to operate free of charge.

The ceremony concluded with all participants laying the foundation stone of the hospital at one of the prime locations in the city of Herat.
