Mr. Ahmad Shah Hakimi, first deputy chairman of the Kabul Chamber of Commerce and Investment (KCCI) met with Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Wafa, governor of Balkh province, at the governor’s office.
During the meeting, Mr. Hakimi expressed appreciation for the governor’s efforts in improving and organizing the activities of the private sector. He also highlighted the existing challenges facing the private sector and called for more attention to resolving them.
Mr. Wafa emphasized the importance of the role played by traders and investors in improving the living conditions of the people and meeting their needs. He stressed efforts to provide better and more comprehensive facilities and pledged his full cooperation.

KCCI`s board members including: Mr. Ahmad Shah Hakimi, first deputy chairman Hamayon Khowaja Zada, commercial deputy, and Ghulam Sakhy Mohammadi, chief executive officer of the Kabul Chamber of Commerce and Investment, met with Mr. Zia Ibrahimi, a trader in the health sector and essential goods.
In this meeting, Mr. Ibrahimi discussed on the trade process with neighboring countries, the challenges and problems in this regard, and requested the attention and cooperation of the chamber of commerce and investment as well as the leaders of the private sector to resolve these issues. He also expressed his interest in cooperating with the chamber of commerce and investment.
The board members of KCCI promised cooperation and efforts to resolve the challenges and expressed their appreciation for Mr. Ibrahim’s active willingness for his cooperation with the chamber and the private sector.
