Details
18 June 2025

The meeting began with the presence of the Head of the Directorate, Haji Abdul Qadir; Deputy for Services, Mohammad Hashim Marghawal; Finance Director, Sohbat Khan Sabari; and Executive Manager, Hamed Rasooli.
At the outset, the Head of the Directorate welcomed the guests. The visitors, Mr. Bruet and his colleague Mr. Shaheen, thanked the hosts and explained the purpose of their visit.
They discussed how to strengthen the private sector and what major challenges exist in the business area so that donors could be found and cooperation could be initiated to resolve them.

The Director called this a positive step and stated that the province is agricultural in nature and faces several challenges, such as the lack of a standard agricultural system, issues with water management, and the absence of professional experts to provide awareness to farmers regarding the standardization of agricultural products.
He also pointed out the lack of cold storage facilities for preserving the quality of agricultural products.

Next, Deputy Marghawal highlighted issues including lack of visas for traders, existence of non-standard agricultural systems, absence of loan facilities for supporting traders, and the need for public awareness programs to establish a standard agricultural framework.
Finance Director Sabari raised concerns about the banking system, and Executive Manager Rasooli called for creating opportunities for small entrepreneurs and finding donors to support female entrepreneurs financially.

Mr. Bruet acknowledged the issues and stated they would try to assist in resolving them, provide facilities for local investors and traders, and generally support all efforts aimed at strengthening the private sector, and would share the matters with the international community.
