The new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Balkh Chamber of Commerce and Investment, along with vice-chairmen and board members, was formally introduced during a special ceremony. This step was taken to improve the operations of the Balkh Chamber, enhance coordination between the Chamber’s leadership and the Balkh provincial authorities, and strengthen commercial activities in the province.

In the event held for this purpose, Mr. Sayed Karim Hashemi, head of Yama Petrol Company and a prominent business figure in Balkh, was introduced as the new Chairman. Mr. Haroon Rashid Qazi was appointed as the First Vice-Chairman, Mr. Abdul Momin Ziaei as the Second Vice-Chairman, Mr. Asadullah Asadi as the Chief of the Secretariat, and Mr. Merajuddin Parhiz as the Head of Finance.

Additionally, the following individuals were appointed as board members: Khairuddin Mayel Ahmadi, Mohammad Ebrahim Ghaznfar, Zamary Kamgar, Nasir Ahmad Arab, Kamal Nabizadah, Mahmood Yousufzai, Mullah Abdul Ghafour, Mohammad Younas Arman, Nasir Ahmad Sultanzada, Mirwais Ahmadi, Abdul Jamil Zazai, Fazel Ahmad Dosti, Mohammad Yasin Wahabzada, Habiburrahman Rahmani, and Mohammad Kambiz Sadri.

Mr. Mohammad Mostafa Momand was appointed as the spokesperson of the Balkh Chamber.

This initiative aims to enhance trade activities, facilitate business services, and strengthen the role of the private sector in Balkh, fostering effective coordination between traders and relevant institutions.
