The topographic survey of the reserved area for the planned industrial park in Maidan Wardak Province has officially commenced and is currently in progress. This survey covers an area of approximately 450 jeribs of land and is being conducted with the objective of preparing a detailed master plan for the mentioned industrial park.
During this process, advanced equipment such as the Total Station is being used, which records highly accurate topographic data through modern laser technology. Upon completion of the survey, a comprehensive plan will be developed, paving the way for the establishment and development of a standard and well-organized industrial park at the provincial level.
Mr. Zakaria Noori, Head of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment of Maidan Wardak Province, emphasized the significance of this project, describing it as an important step toward strengthening the economic and industrial infrastructure of the province. According to him, the expansion of industrial parks will facilitate the attraction of new investments, which in turn will create employment opportunities for hundreds of people, both directly and indirectly.
Meanwhile, more than six manufacturing companies have already begun infrastructure development activities in the Kotul Takht Industrial Park, located in Maidan Wardak Province. With a total area of 1,250 jeribs of land, this park is considered one of the major industrial projects at the provincial level.
Following the completion of the survey and preparation of the detailed plan, this park will also be ready for operation—marking a significant step toward balanced development and the strengthening of the province’s economic foundations.
