Foundation Stone Laid for Cold Storage Facility in Ghazi Mohammad Jan Khan Township

The foundation stone was laid for a major cold storage facility in the Ghazi Mohammad Jan Khan Township project, with an estimated investment of one million US dollars. The project is being launched by the private sector in coordination and cooperation with the Municipality, the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing, the Departments of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, and the Chamber of Commerce and Investment.

The cold storage facility will have a total capacity of 2,000 to 2,500 tons, playing a vital role in preserving agricultural products, boosting exports, and adding value to local produce.The project will create employment opportunities for around 100 individuals, and construction is expected to be completed within two months.The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Governor of the province, Qari Sahib Bakhtiar Moaz, along with officials from relevant departments, investors, and local residents. Zakaria Noori, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment, described the project as an important economic step and a successful example of public-private partnership.
