The meeting was held today, Wednesday, under the leadership of Uruzgan's Deputy Governor Al-Haj Mullah Bari Gul Akhund. Present were Al-Haj Habibullah "Omar", President of the Uruzgan Chamber, Al-Haj Mullah Abdullah Sahib, and Financial and Administrative Director Mullah Fazlullah "Bilal", along with Engineer Abdul Rahman "Atash", CEO of the National Development Company. They discussed the Aghajan Dam project and several other major development initiatives.

This delegation, representing the people of Uruzgan, had traveled to Kabul to communicate local concerns to relevant authorities. They held comprehensive discussions with the CEO of the National Development Company regarding key and vital projects—particularly the acceleration of work on the Aghajan Dam, which is expected to bring significant change to the province’s economy, agriculture, and electricity supply.

Engineer Abdul Rahman Atash pledged that, according to the signed contract, the construction of the Aghajan Dam is among the company's top priorities. He promised that the practical implementation will soon accelerate. He also noted that this project will have a substantial impact on the province’s economic and commercial sectors. He had recently visited the province with a technical team to inspect the project site firsthand.
