The esteemed leadership of the Herat Chamber of Commerce and Investment participated in the Financial and Banking Interaction Conference between Ghazanfar Bank and the traders and investors of Herat province. The event was organized by Ghazanfar Bank in collaboration with the Herat Chamber of Commerce and Investment.
At the beginning of the conference, Mohammad Younus Qazizadah, President of the Herat Chamber of Commerce and Investment, spoke about the ongoing collaboration between the chamber and Ghazanfar Bank. He stated that a significant portion of domestic and international financial transactions of Afghan traders and investors are carried out through this bank. He also mentioned that the chamber is working closely with both private and government banks to facilitate more accessible banking and financial services for the private sector.
Also speaking at the event, Wais Aziz, Head of Trade and Development at Ghazanfar Bank Afghanistan, expressed appreciation for the continued cooperation of the Herat Chamber with this private bank. He noted that the leadership of Ghazanfar Bank is committed to working with partner institutions to offer enhanced modern banking services and secure transaction facilities for Afghan traders and investors.
Several members of the Herat Chamber’s leadership also attended the program, including Hajji Abdullah Dashti, Vice President of Services; Hajji Engineer Mohammad Gul Mahmoodi, Head of Finance; and Hajji Farhad Farahi, a board member. The Vice President of Services expressed sincere gratitude for Ghazanfar Bank’s effective support of the private sector in Herat.
At the conclusion of the conference, Rahmatullah Rasooli, Manager of Ghazanfar Bank’s Herat branch, presented the latest updates on the bank’s activities in the field of modern banking and responded to questions raised by some of the attendees.
