A delegation from the Nangarhar Chamber of Commerce and Investment, represented by Mr. Haji Gul Murad Arab, who traveled to Russia alongside a delegation led by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar to attend the Kazan Economic Forum, met with Mr. Vladimir Dmitriev, Deputy Head of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Investment.
Mr. Gul Murad Arab thanked Russia for its contributions to improving economic relations with Afghanistan and for its support in rebuilding Afghanistan’s economy. He noted that Russia has made significant decisions regarding tariffs, which pave the way for the expansion of trade between the two countries.
He further stated that the Russian side proposed the establishment of joint offices between the chambers of commerce of both countries, the increase of trade exchanges, and greater cooperation in Afghanistan's infrastructure development.
The Deputy of the Russian Chamber of Commerce assured continued support and stated that efforts will be made to further enhance trade relations between Afghanistan and Russia.
