Atiq-ur-Rahman Group Donates 4 Million AFN in Food Aid to Returnees from Iran

In coordination with the Nangarhar Chamber of Commerce and Investment, Atiq-ur-Rahman Group distributed food aid worth 4 million Afghanis to Afghan returnees from Iran.

These humanitarian contributions, made in the spirit of solidarity and social responsibility, were delivered to recently returned Afghan citizens in Herat Province.

The distribution ceremony was attended by members of the Nangarhar Chamber of Commerce and Investment, including Deputy of Finance Rais Eqbal, Dr. Mukhlis, Acting Executive Head Rais Shakerullah Safi, Baz Mohammad Jawanmal (President of the Chamber of Craftsmen and Shopkeepers), Shakerullah Stanekzai (Head of the Private Sector at the Directorate of Industry and Commerce), and officials from Atiq-ur-Rahman Group.

Dr. Mukhlis Ahmad, in his remarks, thanked Atiq-ur-Rahman Group, stating that such humanitarian acts not only assist those in need but also reflect the positive role of the private sector.

He emphasized the importance of encouraging other patriotic businessmen to follow suit, saying, "The returnees from Iran are a part of our society and need comprehensive support."

Dr. Mukhlis also noted that efforts would be made to utilize the potential of these young returnees and provide them with employment opportunities.

This initiative stands as a clear example of the private sector’s social responsibility and constructive role in supporting Afghan citizens.
