Mr. Ahmad Shah Hakimi, first deputy of the board of the Kabul Chamber of Commerce and Investment (KCCI), met with Mr. Tawakul Ahmadyar, president of the Afghanistan international trade council, at his new office in the city of Dubai. During the meeting, they discussed the establishment of an office and new investment programs.
The first deputy of the Kabul chamber praised Mr. Ahmadyar’s efforts toward coordinating and organizing international trade activities of Afghanistan traders and wished him continued success.
The president of the Afghanistan international trade council, while explaining their work plans and the establishment of the new office in Dubai, expressed his appreciation for Mr. Hakimi’s visit.

Mr. Arian Zulgai Azimi, investment deputy; Mr. Enayatullah Sediqzai, services deputy; Haji Obaidullah, member of the Board of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI), Mr. Homayoun Khowaja Zada, commercial deputy of the Kabul Chamber of Commerce and Investment (KCCI), and Mr. Ghulam Sakhy Mohammadi, chief executive officer of the KCCI along with a number of traders met with Mr. Nooruddin Azizi, minister of industry and commerce. The meeting focused on discussions regarding the suspension of thousands of commercial containers at the country’s border crossings with Pakistan.
During the meeting, the deputies of ACCI and the traders raised their concerns about the stoppage of approximately 8,000 commercial containers on both sides of the border crossings. Expressing serious concern over the continuation of this situation, they called on the ministry of industry and commerce to cooperate in resolving the existing problem.
They described the detention of thousands of containers belonging to Afghan traders at Karachi port and other ports as a serious obstacle to trade between the two countries, adding that the continuation of this trend has caused losses amounting to tens of millions of dollars to traders and the national economy.
The minister of industry and commerce, after listening to the traders’ concerns, expressed his full cooperation in addressing the issues and also urged the country’s traders to use alternative routes in order to prevent the recurrence of such situations in the future.

Mr. Ahmad Shah Hakimi, first deputy chairman of the board of the Kabul Chamber of Commerce and Investment (KCCI), met with Mr. Haji Rafi Azimi, deputy for trade of the Afghanistan Chamber of Industries and Mines (ACIM). The meeting was attended by prominent national traders, including Mr. Khan Jan Alokozai, president of the Afghanistan–Pakistan joint chamber of commerce, Shuja-ud-Dawla, Taher Hamedi, Farooq Anwari, and Aminullah Ahmadzai.
During the meeting, Mr. Hakimi and his accompanying delegation congratulated Mr. Azimi on his appointment as deputy for trade of the chamber, considering this selection an important step toward the growth and improvement of trade.
Mr. Alokozai described Mr. Azimi’s previous performance as effective and wished him success in carrying out his future responsibilities.
Mr. Rafi Azimi, while expressing his gratitude for the visit, described his new position as a significant responsibility and emphasized his commitment to serving traders and the private sector community

Mr. Arian Zulgai Azimi, deputy investment of the board of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI), in the presence of Mr. Mohammad Wali Amini, chief executive officer of ACCI, and a number of traders, met with Mr. Ahmad Shah Hakimi, first deputy chairman of the board of the Kabul Chamber of Commerce and Investment (KCCI), Mr. Rahmat Gul Rasouli, member of the board, and Mr. Ghulam Sakhi Mohammadi, chief executive officer of the Kabul Chamber.
The first deputy chairman of the KCCI provided a brief overview of the KCCI’s activities over the past several years and called for the support of the new leadership to ensure the growth and development of the Kabul chamber.
Mr. Azimi described the new leadership of the chamber as committed to serving the improvement of the private sector and emphasized support for the activities of provincial chambers.
Additionally, the deputies of the ACCI and the KCCI visited various departments of the chamber, observed the performance of the executive staff, and emphasized the improvement of operations and the expansion of chamber services.

Mr. Tawakul Ahmadyar, president of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, accompanied by Ahmad Shah Hakimi, first deputy chairman of the KCCI, Mir Zaman Popal, acting deputy for finance and administration of the executive board of the ACCI, Abdul Salam Kohi, legal advisor, Najibullah Fazli human resources manager, and Ghulam Sakhy Mohammadi chief executive officer of KCCI, paid an official visit to the Kabul Chamber of Commerce and Investment.
During the visit, the president met various departments and sections of the KCCI and instructed staff to provide better and more effective services to traders, and emphasized continued support for improving and enhancing the activities of the KCCI.
At the conclusion of the visit, Mr. Hakimi expressed his appreciation for the continuous attention and support of the president and the board of directors of the central chamber toward the KCCI.

Cash and in-kind assistance from Kabul, which had been collected through the efforts of the designated Kabul Aid collection and coordination committee, was handed over to the committee for assisting earthquake victims of Kunar province.
These contributions amounting to nearly 2.5 million Afghanis and approximately USD 11,000 in cash, along with dozens of different types of goods—were collected through the efforts of the designated committee composed of representatives of governmental institutions, the Kabul Chamber of Commerce and Investment (KCCI), and other private sector entities. The aid was delivered to Kunar province by representatives of the committee and formally handed over to the provincial authorities.
During a meeting with the committee representatives, the deputy governor of Kunar province expressed gratitude for the cash and in-kind assistance sent from Kabul, particularly from the Kabul provincial authority, and called on supporting organizations and donors to cooperate in providing construction materials for the rebuilding and resettlement of families affected by the earthquake.

Mr. Ahmad Shah Hakimi, first deputy chairman of the Kabul Chamber of Commerce and Investment (KCCI) met with Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Wafa, governor of Balkh province, at the governor’s office.
During the meeting, Mr. Hakimi expressed appreciation for the governor’s efforts in improving and organizing the activities of the private sector. He also highlighted the existing challenges facing the private sector and called for more attention to resolving them.
Mr. Wafa emphasized the importance of the role played by traders and investors in improving the living conditions of the people and meeting their needs. He stressed efforts to provide better and more comprehensive facilities and pledged his full cooperation.
