The Deputy for Services of the Herat Chamber of Commerce and Investment, along with several representatives of sectoral unions from the province, held a meeting with the officials of the Dogharoon Free Economic Zone to discuss the challenges faced by traders, investors, and transporters from both sides.
Mr. Haji Abdullah Dashti, Deputy of Services at ACCI Herat, emphasized the importance of investment in the Dogharoon Free Zone for both Afghanistan and Iran, and explained the goals of his visit. He called for increased facilities and support for the private sectors of both countries.
In response, the Dogharoon Free Zone authorities reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral trade activities and announced that a new support plan for the private sector of both nations will soon be drafted and implemented in this zone.
Moreover, the delegations visited the Fakhri Zadeh parking area, listened to Afghan truck drivers' concerns, and pledged to resolve their issues.
