On Sunday, the Deputy Director of the Helmand Chamber of Commerce and Investment, Mr. Haji Ata Mohammad Akhlaqi, along with board members Haji Mohammad Rahim Amin, Haji Abdul Qadir Popal, Haji Ahmad Shah Khan Wissal, Haji Mohammad Naseem Raufi, Haji Ahmad Jan Mohammadi, the Head of the Helmand Union of Money Exchangers Haji Ahmad Shah Madani, his deputy Haji Mohammad Asif Noorani, Deputy of the Helmand Chamber of Industries and Mines Haji Saleh Mohammad Sanzhar, and the Head of the Conflict Resolution Commission Haji Qudratullah Kakar, along with several national traders and industrialists, held a working and friendly meeting with the new manager of the Islamic Bank of Afghanistan in Helmand province, Mr. Qari Mohammad Lal Hewadmal.
During the meeting, Mr. Hewadmal was warmly welcomed, and his appointment was considered a positive step toward improving financial services in Helmand. Mr. Akhlaqi expressed happiness about the new appointment and assured full cooperation. He emphasized that coordination between the private sector and financial institutions can open new economic opportunities and developments for the province.
Mr. Hewadmal, in turn, thanked the leadership team and business representatives for their support and expressed hope for ongoing cooperation with local entrepreneurs, traders, and investors. He stated that the Islamic Bank of Afghanistan would provide transparent, effective, and accessible banking services based on Islamic principles.
