Visit of the Islamic Emirate Delegation to Birjand, Iran and Signing of Economic Agreement between Farah and Birjand Private Sectors

On 10.03.1404 (Solar Hijri), a delegation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, led by Haji Ghausuddin "Rahbar", Governor of Farah Province, and accompanied by Haji Din Mohammad "Naimati", Chairman of the Board of the Farah Chamber of Commerce and Investment, visited Birjand, Islamic Republic of Iran, with the aim of expanding bilateral cooperation.
During the visit, discussions were held with Mr. Seyed Mohammad Reza "Hashemi", Governor of Birjand, on enhancing cooperation in trade, transport, and investment sectors. Challenges faced by Afghan traders were also addressed.
As part of this visit, on Sunday, 11.03.1404, an important economic memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the private sectors of Farah and Birjand provinces. The purpose of the MoU is to strengthen trade relations, create opportunities for mutual investment, and enhance coordination between the two sides' private sectors.
