The members of the Price Control and Anti-Hoarding Commission held their working session at the Directorate of Industry and Commerce.
The session began with opening remarks by the Director of Industry and Commerce of Bamyan Province.
The purpose of this session was to better coordinate the implementation of the commission’s work plan and to define and distribute the new price list for goods and services.
Participants in this session included the Executive Director of the Bamyan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, the Head of the Chamber of Craftsmen and Shopkeepers, the Head of the Oil and Gas Tanker Union, a representative of poultry farmers, a representative of butchers, and a representative of wholesale food suppliers.
The members of the Price Control and Anti-Hoarding Commission stated:
To improve the process, the commission’s procedures must be implemented accurately and professionally. Strict oversight is needed of the practices of various businesses when selling goods and services. They thanked the representatives of the private sector, businesses, and shopkeepers and emphasized the importance of fairness in trade, adhering to the approved price list, and conducting sales accordingly, especially given the current conditions.The representatives of the business sector expressed appreciation for the commission's ongoing efforts, shared their concerns and suggestions, and called for increased cooperation.
